Charles L. Pratt 71, of Amarillo died Tuesday December 15, 2009 at the Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Amarillo

Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Roger Pratt, brother officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery with Military Honors rendered by the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #26. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St.

Mr. Pratt was born in Long Jack, MO. He served in the Air Force from 1955-1965. After being honorably discharged, Mr. Pratt worked as a truck driver for many years at several different trucking companies.

Mr. Pratt married Nora Eudy on June 23, 1957. She preceded him in death on August 30, 2008.

He is survived by 1 son, Roy Pratt and his wife Debbie of Amarillo; his father Lewis Pratt of Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Misty Yaw and Roy Pratt, Jr. both of Amarillo; 4 brothers, Roger Pratt of Illinois, Dennis Pratt of New Mexico and Ernest and Val Pratt both of Missouri; 1 sister, Lori Nelson of Missouri and 5 great-grandchildren

The family suggests memorial donations in lieu of flowers be to the Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 6010 Amarillo Blvd. W. Amarillo, Texas 79106.
