Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Philip Lester, senior pastor of The Rock officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St.
Mr. Hunter was born on September 15, 1925 in Williamsport, PA, to Robert and Mary (Wingo) Hunter. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He moved to Amarillo in 1966 from Williamsport. Mr. Hunter worked as a commercial printer in Amarillo for many years.
He married Rosella Gonzales in 1974 in Amarillo. He was a member of The Rock.
He is survived by his wife, Rosella; 2 sons, Donald G. Hunter of California and William Hunter and his wife Nina of Amarillo; 1 sister, Becky Wright and her Husband Mel of Williamsport, PA; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
