Curtis Brewer

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. GA Roach, chaplain of Northwest Texas Healthcare System officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Brewer was born in Abernathy. He farmed in Childress County several years before moving to Amarillo in 1952. He worked for SPS for 20 years and retired from River Road ISD as a mechanic. Survivors include his companion; Lucille McCracken of Amarillo, 1 daughter; Mary Beth Lynch and husband Clint of Amarillo, 1 son; Lance Brewer and wife Elvia of Palmdale, CA, a special granddaughter Terry Gundlach and husband Mike of Amarillo, a special grandson; Layne Brewer of Lancaster, CA.,and 2 granddaughters; Abby Brewer and Sherri Scott both of San Diego, CA and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will be at 5126 Camp Lane.
