Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Christian Heritage Church with Pastor La Von Thompson, of Life of Praise Fellowship officiating. Committal services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Barker was born in New Albany, Indiana. He was a 10 year resident of Amarillo. After graduating from high school in southern California, he attended Mid-America Nazarene University on a football scholarship. He married Alicia Vearner in 1987 at Shamrock. He worked as a car salesman for 15 years and then in independent sales. We will miss hearing him laugh and him making us laugh. Survivors include: his wife Alicia of the home; 2 daughters, Chelsea Barker and Meagan Barker both of the home; his parents, Dr. Edward and Jennie Barker of Pampa; 1 sister, Kelly Beesley and husband Rick of Pampa; and many nieces and nephews.
