Evelyn Roberts Roberson

Evelyn Roberson 85 of Amarillo died Friday May 1, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at South Lawn Baptist Church. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Roberson was born on July 18, 1929 in Patterson, NJ. She moved to Amarillo from Paris, Texas. She retired from Maywood Incorporated where she had worked in the carpentry department for many years. She was loved by her family and friends at Independence Village. She was always helping her friends and neighbors. Mrs. Roberson was a faithful member of South Georgia Baptist Church where she was active in the seniors activities and Bible studies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Roberson in 1972 and a son Troyce Roberson in 1993. She is survived by 2 daughters, Connie Ritchie of Amarillo and Savana Winterbauer of Garland; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
