George Rouse

George Rouse, 82, of Amarillo, died Sunday. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Rouse was born in Fairland, Indiana. He has lived in Vega since 1972. He served in the Navy Seebees during WWII. He was a general handyman. He worked as a desk clerk @ the Sands Motel in Vega. Survivors include: 3 daughters, Barbara Brinson of Osgood, IN, Shirlene Peterson Walkerton, IN, Lourae Rouse of New Hampshire; 3 sons, King Edward Rouse and Richard Mayhew both of Las Vegas, NV, and Timothy Rouse of Roswell, NM; 2 sisters, Ruby McDaniel and Iris Rouse of Indianapolis, IN; 1 brother, Milton Rouse of Florida; 11 grandschildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Crown of Texas Hospice.
