Alberto Martinez

Alberto Martinez 76, of Amarillo died Friday, March 11, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, March 14, 2016 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Alberto Martinez officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Alberto was born on April 8, 1940 in Mexico to Imeldo and Casilda Martinez. He moved from Mexico in 1982. Alberto worked in construction for many years before retiring. He was a hard worker, and a very respectful, and honest person. Alberto loved his family and had a wonderful sense of humor. Alberto was a member of the Pentecostal church. He never gave up during his illness. Alberto married Maria in 1963 in Mexico. Alberto is survived by his wife Maria of the home, two sons; Alberto Martinez Jr., and Rafael Martinez, a daughter; Ruth Martinez all of Amarillo, eight grandchildren; Javier, Gabriel, Jennefer, Enrique, Christian, Viktoria, Elizabeth, and Jose.
