Almeda ""Dee"" Haskin was born on April 24, 1925 in Braman, OK. She grew up in Wellington, Kansas where she lived until she moved to Gruver in 1969. Following the death of her husband, James ""Buster"" Haskin, she moved to Amarillo where she has resided for many years. Dee was an avid music lover and enjoyed playing the piano for her friends and family and especially for her grandchildren and great-grand daughter. Dee enjoyed her home and especially spending her days in her later years visiting with friends, in her yard. She could often be found relaxing on her prized backyard swing with her dear companion, Tommy Ryan. Survivors: Two sons, Rex Hutchison and wife Jean of Davenport, Iowa and Russell Johnson and wife Janice of Houston; a sister, Ruth Williams of Edmond, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Michael Hutchison of Jacksonville, Florida, Megan and Ashley Johnson and Benjamin and Zachary Ridgeway all of Houston and three great grandchildren, Alyssa Hall of Jacksonville, FL, TJ and Ayden Ridgway of Houston. Dee is also survived by Tommy Ryan, her companion and caretaker for the last 25 years. The family requests that memorials be to BSA Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX 70105
