Alton I Minze

Alton I. ""Bo"" Minze 84 of Amarillo died Monday, July 16, 2012 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Llano East Cemetery, Field of Valor. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Minze was born in Emmett, Texas on August 9, 1927. He served in the Army during WWII. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Mr. Minze worked as a truck driver. He retired in 1992. He moved to Amarillo 20 years ago. He married Joy Jean Gunn on November 29, 1949 in Corsicana. Mr. Minze is survived by his wife, 1 son Eddie Minze and his wife Debra of Round Rock; 1 daughter, Pamela Jean Ware of Amarillo; 1 brother Sonny Minze of Arkansas; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
