Ana Gardea

Ana Gardea, 94, of Amarillo died Friday, January 10, 2020. Service will be Tuesday, January 14 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2500 S Bolton St, Amarillo, TX 79103 officiated by Father Marco Gonzales. Rosary will be Monday, January 13 at 6:30 Pm at Rector Funeral Home. Ana was born July 26, 1925 to Jose and Tiburcia Gardea in Chihuahua Mexico. She moved from Mexico to Amarillo in 1978 with the love of her life Hilario Limas. The two were married for 30 years until 2015 when he died. Ana was a hardworking woman who just enjoyed life. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and listening to music. She was strict, but Ana had a huge heart. Ana was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sons; Leandro and Florentino Limas, and one daughter Ana Maria Limas De lopez. She is survived by five daughters; Elva Barrera and husband Antonio, Margarita Munoz and her husband Edurdo, Santos Limas De Cardoza and her husband Gustavo, and Silvia Garcia and Guille Limas, four sons; Manuel Limas and his wife Diana, Luis Ignacio Limas and his wife Emilia, Roberto Limas and wife Elsa and Jose Hilario Limas and his wife Mary, 55 grandchildren 65 great grandchildren 10 great great grandchildren.
