A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 20 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Father Rex Nicholl officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 South Osage St. Annie, one of 11 siblings, was born on November 22, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama. She married the love of her life, Tony Perez. Together they had two children Tony Jr. and Mary Ann. She was a very strong willed woman, and always had a smile on her face. Annie kept her heart and trust in the Lord's hands no matter what she encountered through life's journey. Her family was the pride and joy of her life, and she loved her animals as well. She also enjoyed cooking, and always made time to tell a story. She will be dearly missed by the many who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, and son. The family would like to express a special appreciation to the staff of BSA Hospice. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Leppert and husband Larry of Amarillo; 3 grandchildren, Chris Anglin of Amarillo, Jennifer Smead of Dallas, and Cherish Holland of Amarillo; her brother, Cecil Matthews; and sister, Shirley Woods both of Oklahoma; and 12 great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to the Amarillo ASPCA.
