Annie Potts

Annie Potts 73, of Amarillo died Friday November 7, 2008 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Leon Green, pastor of Bolton Street Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Potts was born in Bee House. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Pavillard Baptist Church, She married Emil D. Potts in 1971 at Amarillo. He died in April. Mrs. Potts loved going to casinos and playing slots. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by 4 daughters, Phyllis Bowers and her husband Joe Ed and Tanya Selman and her husband Justin all of Amarillo, Toni Simmons and her husband Jimmy and Stacy Hennessey all of Amarillo; 3 sons, Mike Pickett and his wife Kim of Texarkana, Anthony Potts of Canadian and Timothy Potts of Amarillo; 1 brother, Stanley Belter of Amarillo; 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
