Antonia Madrigal

Antonia Madrigal 89, of Amarillo died Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Amarillo. Services will be at 12:00 pm Monday at Recor Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Antonia was born in Tyler on July 5, 1929 to Julian and Isabel Garcia. She moved to Amarillo in 2014 from Hereford. She was a faithful employ of Excel Beef Processors for more than 25 years. She married Leon Madrigal in 1947. Antonia was a member of Hillside Christian Church South Campus. She was preceded in death by her Husband in 1989, two sons, Tony Madrigal and Leon Madrigal, Jr. and a daughter Angelita Prieto. Antonia is survived by six daughters, Lupe Villareal and her husband Hector of Hereford, Carmen Mata Rodriguez of Kyle, Connie Madrigal, Lucy Madrigal and Lola Madrigal all of Amarillo and Mary Lou Bonney and her husband Orlando of Clovis, NM; two sons, Louis Raul Mata of Pampa and Ernest Madrigal and wife Beatrice of Amarillo; 49 grandchildren, 114 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
