Antonio Carrillo, 78, of Pampa, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 24th, at Rector Pioneer Chapel. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.
Antonio was born on July 25, 1947, in Aransas Pass, Texas, to Carlos and Eloisa Carrillo. He grew up working in the farming fields and ranches of East Texas. He moved to Shamrock in the late 1970s, later to the Amarillo area, and recently moved to Pampa. He worked as a truck driver most of his life and was veteran of the Army National Guard.
He always stayed busy and enjoyed cooking, watching old westerns, traveling and spending time with family. He was a devoted Catholic.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Vivianna Ortega and Anthony Covarrubias.
He is survived by three daughters, Debbie McCabe and husband Thomas, Sonia Denise Carrillo and Lisa Marie Carrillo, all of Phoenix, Az.; a son, Christopher Carrillo of Amarillo; two sisters, Gloria Cox and Mary Lou Hines; a brother, Alex Carrillo; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
