A.O. Buckholt

A.O. ""Buck"" Buckholt, 83 of Amarillo died Monday February 19, 2007. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Iman Crawford officiating. Family will receive guests Wednesday evening from 6 PM-8PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St. Mr. Buckholt was born July 12, 1923 in Yantis, TX, Wood County to John and Pearl Buckholt. He worked most of his life at Southwest Prestress. He retired October of 1984. He loved traveling, fishing, and most of all he loved his family. He married Eileen Herbert on October 13, 1945 in Reading, England. They were married for 61 years. He served in the Tactical Air Command in World War II. He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters Wanda Knightstep and husband Ronnie of Amarillo, Brenda Morris and husband Lonnie of Lubbock, and Patsy Jordan and husband Steve of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
