Audrey Faye George

Audrey Faye George 83, of Amarillo died Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Lynn Rector officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. George was born on Sept. 10, 1937 in Edom, Texas to Oliver Lee and Ollie (Brewer) Perry. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. Mrs. George loved caring for others and served as a home healthcare nurse for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of classic country music. She married Johnnie George on Oct. 10, 1984. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2009. She is survived by three daughter, Connie Johnson and Michele Dunlap both of Amarillo and Kathy Payne of Springfield, MO; her son Mike Bridgeman of Amarillo; two sisters, Pauline Bruce and Maurice Novak both of Amarillo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
