Austin Jeffery Valmores

Austin Jeffery Valmores, 21, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The family will receive friends at Rector Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Austin was born on June 9, 2005, in Amarillo. He grew up in Amarillo and was in the ROTC at Caprock High School. He graduated from North Heights High School. He served in the United States Coast Guard the past two years in Mississippi. He enjoyed fishing, martial arts and recreational marksmanship.

He is survived by his two daughters, Melody and Scarlett Valmores, both of Texas City; his mother, Naomi Salas and fiancé Carlos Enriquez of Amarillo; his father, Amos Valmores and wife Aurora of Amarillo; his wife, Tikvah Valmores of Texas City; his grandparents, Silvia Herrera of Amarillo, Benjamin Gonzales of Amarillo, Jerry and Debbie Weaver of Pampa, and Jefferson and Kim Valmores of Rhome; three brothers, Roger Salas, Miguel Enriquez, and Joshua Enriquez; three sisters, Amelia Enriquez, Cecilia Enriquez and Aria Faith Valmores; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
