Azalea Ruth Rutherford 66, of Amarillo died Thursday February 7, 2003 at Amarillo. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Max Beggs retired minister officiating. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Rutherford was born in Amarillo. She moved to Gatesville in 1963 and returned to Amarillo in 1977. She was a homemaker. She had worked for Wilson Battery and Electric for several years and also worked as a home healthcare giver. Survivors include 2 daughters; Rene Reyes and Tresa Moore both of Amarillo, 1 son Freddie Rutherford of Amarillo, 2 brothers; A.B. Hawkins and Wayne Hawkins both of Amarillo and 2 grandchildren; Micheal Moore and Alexis Reyes both of Amarillo.
