Barbara Alford

Barbara Alford, 64, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday April 24, 2006 at Comanche Trail Church of Christ, with Loran Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage, Amarillo, TX. Barbara was a very kind-hearted and loving person to everyone, and everyone loved her. She will be extremely missed by all who knew and loved her. She was member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mildred Turpen, and her husband Wayne in 2002. Survivors include a daughter Maribeth Martin of Amarillo; one son, Tony Alford of Amarillo; two grandsons, Chris Martin of Galveston and Matt Martin of Amarillo; two sisters, Shirley Moore and her husband, Lee, of Amarillo, and Mary Jett, of Meadow Brook, West Virginia; a special aunt, Joyce Hyden of Amarillo; and many extended family members who loved her very much.
