Barbara Ellen (Tice) Hooser, 79, of Amarillo, TX. Passed to be with the lord on December 26, 2017. Barbara was born in Wapanucka, OK. on November 15, 1938 to her Mother Bessie (Fletcher) Tice and Father Lee Tice. To Barbara her family was everything, she loved them very much she was quoted saying my greatest possessions are my babies. Barbara loved to sit on her porch, in the West Texas sun, with her dog. She loved laughing with friends and having her grand and great-grandchildren over for dinner. She was an owner of a beauty supply store for many years and helped her husband run their family owned restaurant. She is preceded by Her Husband Prentice E. Hooser; Parents; 4 Brothers; 3 Sisters; Grandson Lance Hooser; Great-Granddaughter Hannah Spoon She is survived by Her children Greg Hooser, Kelly Thompson & husband Mike Kelly, Van E. Hooser & wife DAnna, and Kim Burge & husband Mike; sister Sharon Kovacs of Hereford; grandchildren Joseph & Chad Hooser, Krystal Mitchell, Justin Spoon, Ashley Freitas and Gage Wikle; great-grandchildren Darian Montgomery, Gabby, Joslin & Harley Hooser, Kiarie & Kajanae Price, Noah, Zaidee, Toby & Landon Spoon Loving and Kind, Truly Dearly Missed.
