Barbara Ann Wainwright

Barbara was born on May 16, 1952 in Concord, MI. She moved to Amarillo in 1982, and was a nurse for 25 years. She married Colin Wainwright on July 21, 1995 in Homer, MI. Barbara was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church where she was dedicated to the greeter ministry. Her contagious smile touched the hearts of many as she greeted those who attended services there. She loved to roll through her neighborhood, and admire all of God's creation despite the limits on her physical capability. She had a very strong, compassionate, and unselfish heart that was willing to help anyone in need. Her beauty exceeded from within and many consider it a blessing to have known her. She will be deeply missed by her family, and special friends, Macie, Roxie, and Hollywood. Survivors include her husband of Amarillo; a stepson, Brian Rogers of Austin; a stepdaughter, Christina Wainwright of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Dale Shields and Jack Pulling both of Michigan; a sister in law, Joan Warwick and husband Ted of Wisconsin; 2 granddaughters, Sadie and Sierra Wainwright of Amarillo; 2 nephews, Graham and Glynn Warwick; a niece, Jackie Davis and a host of extended church family and friends.
