Belva Greenhouse 82, of Amarillo died Friday, January 7, 2022 in Amarillo. Private family burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. A Celebration Service will be at 11:30 am Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Arena of Life Church with pastor Travis Bennett officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Belva was born in Miami to Jess and Jewel (Burns) Lawson. She married Harold Greenhouse on July 2, 1955 in Miami. They lived Miami and moved to Channing in 1967 before moving to Earth in 1977. They moved to Amarillo in 2002. She was a faithful member of the Arena of Life Church. Belva was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, woodworking, building birdhouses, collecting Santa Clauses and working crossword puzzles. She loved to shop at thrift stores and going to garage sales. She was the number one supporter and cheerleader for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son in law, Bill Blasingame and her sister Patsy Minick. Belva is survived by her husband, Harold; her daughter, Bobbi Blasingame of Amarillo; her grandson, Ike Blasingame and his wife Stephanie of Canyon; her granddaughter Tiffany Thomas and her husband Clayt of Happy; her sister Rita Wilson of Enid, OK; her great grandchildren, Remington and Alecia Smith, Will Blasingame, Danci Blasingame, Katiann Smith, Karlee and Ethan Hall and Kora Thomas; her great-great-grandchildren Waylon and Dallie Phillips and Swaylee Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
