Benigno Salazar-Luis

A celebration of his life will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 6 at Northridge Church of Christ with Pedro A. Gonzalez, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Benigno was born on March 11, 1933 in Ciudad Acua Coahuila, Mxico. He graduated from Lubbock's Sunset International Bible Institute (formerly Sunset Church of Christ School of Preaching) in 1970 and later relocated to Quertaro, Qro. Mxico, Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mxico and Amarillo, Texas. Benigno was the preacher and song leader for Northridge Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Manuela R. Salazar, two daughters Maria Magdalena Perez and husband Manuel, Elizabeth Holguin and husband Moises; four sons, David Salazar, Jeh Salazar and wife Rosa, Luis Benigno Salazar and Israel Salazar and wife Sulema; and 9 grandchildren, Juan Jr, Denisse, Lizeth, Josu, Jeh Jr, Abraham, Berenice, Moises Jr and Sarah.
