Benita Marcia Quintana 86, of Amarillo died Saturday, January 2, 2016 in Amarillo. Rosary was said at 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial was at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Jim Smitmeyer, celebrant officiating. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Quintana was born on January 1, 1930 In Logan, NM to Juan and Sarita Cordova. She moved to Amarillo in the 1960s from Logan. Mrs. Quintana was a devoted mother wife and friend. She worked as a dietician for many years. She married Natividad Quintana on June 25, 1955 in New Mexico. She was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a son Samuel Quintana in 2015. She is survived by her husband Natividad of Amarillo; 3 sons, David Quintana, Johnny Quintana and Natt Quintana, Jr., all of Amarillo and 6 grandchildren.
