Betty Loyce Garrison

A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Friday, December 31 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Betty was born on May 21, 1929 in Dierks, AR, but had been a resident of Amarillo for most of her life. She married Tommy Garrison on September 9, 1952. Together, they owned and operated Garrison Fence Company. Betty had a dry sense of humor, and at times was very feisty. She was known for keeping her house immaculately clean, and for her baking skills. She also enjoyed doing yard work. Her family was the pride of her life, and she loved each one tremendously. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her son, Kim Garrison, 2 brothers, a sister, and a great grandchild, Star Nevaeh Garrison. Survivors include her husband; 2 sisters, Bobbie Busby of Amarillo, and Joann Willis of Marietta, OK; 2 grandchildren, Jonathan and Brandon Garrison both of Amarillo; 2 great grandchildren, Kobe and Kiana Garrison. The family suggests memorials be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Paramount Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 3801 S. Western, Amarillo 79109.
