Betty Sue Hodan

Betty Sue Hodan, 61 of Amarillo died Thursday, November 28, 2002 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Bigham, pastor of Arden Road Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Hodan was born in Amarillo. She attended Palo Duro High School. After high school, she worked as a surgical technician for St. Anthonys Hospital in the early 1960s. In 1968 she became an auditor for the Holiday Inn and was transferred to Colorado Springs and Scottsdale, AZ. She retired from Motorola in 1983. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her utmost concern was keeping peace in the family. Her love will be felt forever. She was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas and Juanita McEwan and by two brothers; Loney Stout in March and Tommy McEwan in May. Survivors include: 1 daughter; Lynn Denise Ritchardson of Amarillo, 3 sisters; Judy Sheldon, Brenda Wagner and her husband Larry and Lonita Leal and her husband Dan, all of Amarillo, 3 grandsons; Wesley, Nicholas and Christopher all of Amarillo and an uncle; Mat McEwan of Amarillo.
