Obituary for Betty Jo Baker Shuler Betty was born November 8, 1926, in Dalhart, Texas, to Ed and Pearl Collins. Betty Passed to be with the Lord on April 17, 2017. She lived most of her life in Amarillo as a homemaker. Betty was proceeded in death by her husband Bill Baker in 1966 and her son Eddie Baker in 2009. She was proceeded in death by three brothers, R.E. Collins, Forest Collins and her twin brother Billy Gene. Proceeding her also were her two sisters: Theresa and Mary Ellen. Family was extremely important to Betty. For most of her life she was a homemaker and enjoyed entertaining her children and grandchildren. Playing cards and golf with friends was an important part of Bettys life. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Sue Baker, and one son, B.G. Baker, three grandsons, Rusty Baker, Jason Baker, and Sean Baker and four great grandchildren. Memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Bivins Apts. 3201 Tee Anchor.
