Bill Barnes, 82, of Amarillo died Saturday, January 8, 2005, in Amarillo.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 13, 2005, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Brinkley of Amarillo Fellowship Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.
Mr. Barnes was very well known as the Avon Man.
Survivors include 1 son, Robert Barnes of Amarillo; 1 daughter, Kathy Tandy of Gilbert, AZ; 1 sister, Georgia May of Dallas, TX; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Baptist Saint Anthony's Hospice, P.O. Box 950 Amarillo, TX 79176.
