Bill Barnes, 82, of Amarillo died Saturday January 8, 2005 in Amarillo. Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Memory Gardens Cemetery; with Pastor Jerry Brinkley of Amarillo Fellowship Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Barnes was very well known as the Avon Man. Survivors include: 1 son Robert Barnes of Amarillo; 1 daughter Kathy Tandy of Gilbert, AZ; and 1 sister, Georgia May of Dallas, TX, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
