Billie Ruth Goss Garrison

Billie Ruth Goss-Garrison 70 of Amarillo died Monday July 12, 2004 at Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Southeast Baptist Church with John Goss, son and Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Words can only begin to describe the characteristics of Billie Goss-Garrison. Life had dealt her many difficult trials, and perhaps the reason she was called a ""wild Indian"" at times. In spite of this molding, she will always be remembered for her love of her two sons and six grandchildren. She worked three jobs at times, to provide for her children. There was nothing she would not do for her family. Billie lived many years believing she was a Christian. In November of 2002 during a revival service in Sulphur Rock, AR, she gave her life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: her husband; Gary Garrison of the home, 2 sons; Phillip Goss of Nicoma Park, OK, John Goss and his wife Angela of Indonesia, a sister; Ethel Turner of Amarillo and 6 grandchildren, Maykayla Goss of Nicoma Park, OK and Bry Goss, Kristen Goss, Emily Goss, Jordan Goss and Hannah Goss all of Indonesia. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:30pm Wednesday at the funeral home
