Billy Don Ridley, 66, of Amarillo died Saturday, September 25, 2021. The funeral Service is 10:00 am Friday, October 1st at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, officiated by Rick Lynch. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. The family will receive guests Wednesday and Thursday 6-8 Pm at the funeral home. Billy was born in Modesto Ca. on October 23, 1954, to Matilda and Chester Ridley. Bill was humorous, witty, and a big smart Alec, but it was all in good fun. Bill loved everyone and enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He would give the shirt off of his back for anyone in need. Bill was a passionate patriot. He joined the United States Marine Corps in May of 1977. Billy met the love of his life, Brenda, through social media. The two became inseparable. They had natural chemistry. They married on May 29, 2005. Bill enjoyed helping out in the community, he rode with the Patriot Riders. Bill's wife, children, and grandchildren meant the world to him. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers; Levern and Lonnie Ridley, and one grandson, Oliver Ridley. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ridley, his two daughters; Keresa Smith and her boyfriend Todd Stubblefield, and Brandi Flory and her boyfriend Jared Acuff, three sons; Quentin Ridley, Austin Ridley and his wife Stephanie Ridley, and Garrett Ridley, 9 grandchildren; Kylee Flory, Axel Ridley, Ciara Webb, Christian Stubblefield, Kyler Ridley, Kinsley Acuff, Amos Stubblefield, Isabella Stubblefield, and Kora Acuff, and one brother, Roy Ridley and his wife Beverly.
