Billy Kemper Vaughan, 70 of Amarillo died Saturday January 17, 2004 Services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery East Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Jim Smith pastor of St. Stephen United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas Mr. Vaughan was born in Silverton. He lived in Amarillo most of his life. He owned and operated Bill Vaughan Motors and Bill Vaughan Import Car Center. He retired in 1978. He married Wanda Cook on 1951 at Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Billie K. Stoddard in 1991. Survivors include: his wife of the home, 3 daughters; Debbie Peatrowski and Shirley Bryan both of Amarillo and Lucinda Manning of Henderson, TX, 1 son Pete Vaughan of Amarillo, 1 brother; Robert Vaughan of Santa Fe, NM, 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
