Blanche Hobson, 87, of Amarillo died Monday November 13, 2006 in Amarillo. Graveside Services will be Thursday November 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Spur Memorial Cemetery, Spur, TX. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 S. Coulter Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Hobson was born in Hamilton County, her parents moved to Spur, TX in 1930 when she was 11 years old. She married Alvin Hobson in 1943 in Spur. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 1sister. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Dee Reed of Amarillo, 1 son Robert Hobson of Midland, 1 sister Lillian Lee of Amarillo, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
