Bob R. Bell

Bob R. Bell 70, of Amarillo died Wednesday October 29, 2008 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Bell was born in Cloudcroft, NM. He owned and operated B.R. Bell, Inc., from 1975-1988. He helped with the construction of 3 area banks, the Amarillo Civic Center, Sunset Center, Western Plateau Elementary School, Iowa Beef Processors, ASARCO, Owens Corning and numerous churches. He did concrete and construction in New Mexico, Dallas, Reno, NV., Amarillo and other surrounding cities. He married Sally Bell on Dec. 16, 1955 at Clovis. He was a Baptist and a former member of Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Sandy Reneau and her husband Marty and Robin McDaniel all of Amarillo; 2 sons, Michael Bell and his wife Darena and Joel Bell and his wife Kelley all of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Kay Bell of Amarillo and Dorothy Kammerer of Springtown; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
