Bobby Mccarty 'Dad'

Bobby McCarty ""Dad"", 78, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, March 1, 2006 in Amarillo. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 2:00 PM at St. Stephen West Campus, with Pastor Rusty Sieck, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage Amarillo, Texas 79103. Mr. McCarty married Imo Gene Blagg on March 10, 1949 in Panhandle TX, they were married 57 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Southwest, 1500 South Coulter, Suite B, Amarillo TX 79106. He is survived by his wife, Imo Gene McCarty of the home; a daughter, Kerry Wilhite and her husband Jack of Amarillo; two sons, Dickie McCarty and his wife Jan of Amarillo; and Brent McCarty of Amarillo; a brother, Billy Wayne McCarty of Santa Maria California; seven grandchildren, Bobby McCarty and his wife Delta, of Laurel Mississippi; Jerry Wilhite and his wife Stephanie of Laramie Wyoming; Brandon Kinard and his wife Lindsey of Amarillo; Bandy McCarty and his wife Lacey of Orange Grove TX; Sasha Connolly and her husband Mark of Amarillo; Wes Wilhite of Amarillo and Amanda McCarty of Amarillo; and ten great-grandchildren.
