Brenden Blaze Smith-Scott passed away early February 13, 2022 at the age of 20, following a car accident. Memorial services will be in California Brenden was born in Tucson, AZ on April 10, 2001 to his parents Lance Scott and Kara Smith. He was an active member of the Skate community of Amarillo and the surfing and skate community of Huntington Beach, California. He loved surfing and skateboarding with his twin brother Jovan. He was enrolled in the STEM program at Amarillo University majoring in Engineering and Math. He enjoyed working in the math tutoring center, He enjoyed his classes, loved meeting new people at the college and was looking forward to graduating in May. Brenden was also on the Deans List. He will be missed by his family many friends he made over his life. Brenden Blaze loved life, especially surfing, skating with his brother, his many friends (Buddy). He loved snowboarding and taking his Jeep to the river. He enjoyed the holidays with his family, going to California to spend time with his niece Ellie who he loved. He loved his friends and family with his whole heart. He Loved BIG! 420. Brenden was the youngest of his siblings. He is survived by his sister Acacia Smith, her daughter Elliana Angelina Legaspi, of Costa Mesa, California; his twin brother Jovan Allen Smith-Scott and his girlfriend Jocelyn of Princeville, Hawaii and Berrett Scott of Houston; his father Lance Scott, his girlfriend Jennifer Mackancis and their dog Norma Jean of Amarillo; his mother, Kara Smith of Huntington Beach CA; his grandparents, Edward & Virginia Scott of Lipscomb; aunts and uncles, Jason & Chandra Wells of Amarillo, Sandra Scott & Russell Bertrand Of Sugar Land, aunts Kim Moreno and family of Alamogordo, NM, Michelle Jensen and family of Maryland, KY; many cousins that loved him, Ashley Fox and family of Tennessee, Michael Sisk and family of Amarillo, David Sisk of Kansas. Stephanie, Savannah, Drake, and Seth; and his dog, Occy, who he loved taking camping at the river.
