Candelaria Moore

Candelaria (Cande) Moore Garcia, 79 Amarillo TX passed away January 11, 2024 to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born on August 20, 1944 in Coahuila Mexico.

The viewing will be Saturday, January 20, 2024, 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. With a Celebration of life from 3:00PM-4:00 PM. At Rector Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather after the services at Comanche Trail Church of Christ for food and communion in memory of Cande Moore.

Cande is preceded in death by her loving parents, David and Margarita Garcia, brother Ramiro Garcia, sisters Rebecca Davis, and Genoveva Ortega.

Survivors include her husband Larry Moore of Amarillo Tx; her children Hector Coria, Mirza Thomas (Greg), Jimmy Coria, Lisa Moore, Aaron Moore, Ryan Moore; her grandchildren Benjamin Villanueva, Zac Thomas, Kayla Thomas, Lucas Thomas, Isaac Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Alex Coria, Skyler Moore, Austin Henry, Preston Henry; and great grandson Cooper Thomas; brothers David Garcia, Ramon Garcia, sisters Elva Palomares and Elizabeth Ramirez.

Cande married her love Larry Moore on May 31, 2005.

Her passion in life was spending all her days in her garden and planting a variety of beautiful flowers. She took pride in her gardening!

She was a loving and giving person. She expressed her love towards others by cooking and providing for them. She always had an abundance of delicious food!

She truly loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. They called her “LaLa”.

Cande was a selfless woman who helped anyone who asked. She never forgot her roots as she continued to visit Mexico and providing food and clothes to those in need.

She is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure!

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 20, 2024, at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S Osage St, Amarillo, TX 79103. Public viewing will be 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at Rector Funeral Home. The family and friends of Cande Moore invite all memorial guests to a large reception immediately after the services. There will be a meal and drinks.
