Carl Pinson Garrison

Carl Pinson Garrison 79 of Amarillo died Wednesday August 8, 2007 at Amarillo. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday August 11, 2007 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Tucker of Friendship Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St., Amarillo TX. Mr. Garrison served in the United States Army during WWII during the occupation of Germany. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather. He was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy and his wife Ruth Elva Garrison on November 11, 2001. Survivors include: a step-son, David Bird; a granddaughter, Janet Bird; a brother, Thomas Garrison, all of Amarillo and 2 great-grandchildren.
