Carl Edward Moore, 56 of Amarillo, died June 10, 2017 Born in Los Angeles, CA to Melvin and Lillie Moore on June 4, 1961. Carl Edward "Cadillac" Moore was born to Melvin Moore and Lillie James on June 4th 1961. He was born in Los Angeles CA. and is preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Lillie a brother Marvin Moore and sisters Larene Gaither and Belinda Griffin. Nephews, Andre Griffin & Lamont Jacks, and his favorite Niece Brigette Gaither. He leaves to cherish his three kids Carl Moore Jr. of Oakland CA., Carlette Smith of Amarillo TX & Carlisha Moore of Dallas TX his brother Lonnie Gaither and sister in law Lila Gaither of Amarillo, TX, Fredrick Grant Moore of Sacramento CA, his sisters Brenda Jacks and brother in law Simon Jacks of Jacksonville NC, Cheryl Jones and brother in law Willie Jones of Orlando FL. and Sandra Thomas and brother in law Tim Thomas of Atlanta GA. his significant other Gina Smith of Amarillo, TX his aunts Freda Roby, Jerry Fowler and Carol Williams all of Duncanville, TX and a Uncle Jimmy James of Amarillo, TX his childhood and best friend Tracy Barnes of Oakland, CA and close friend David Hase of Amarillo, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Carl really enjoyed life and listening to music. He was a loving, caring and giving person he loved and was loved by many. He especially loved his family and most of all his children. Those that knew him know that he went by the name Cadillac Carl or Cali Carl and his family called him stinky and rat. We want to give a special thanks to Carls nephew Erie Reed, Uncle Carl would have been proud and thankful of you. During Carls life he lived in Amarillo and was a people person, he never met a stranger. Everyone that knew or met him, loved him. He was great with all of his nieces and nephews and all of his family members and friends. We will always love, cherish, and most of all miss you.
