Carmen Reed 68, of Fritch died Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Amarillo. Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday at Rector Funeral Home ,Osage Chapel ,with Dan Shaeffer of Plainview officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home ,Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Reed was born in Mexico. She moved to Fritch in 2005 from Amarillo. She was an insurance claims agent for Williams Boyce Agency, Woodruff-Moore-Motley Insurance, and the Century 3 Insurance Agency. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed serving her family fine meals. She especially loved spending quality time with her grandchildren, Braden and Morgan. She married Kenneth W. Reed on August 1, 1975 in Amarillo. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; 1 daughter, Kimberly Reile and her husband Matthew of Eagle River, Alaska; 4 sisters, 5 brothers and 2 grand children. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 801 S Fillmore St Ste. 460D, Amarillo, TX 79101.
