Carol Broughton

Carol Broughton, 71, of Amarillo passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Carol was born August 1, 1949, in Jeffersonville In. to Edith and Elton Weaver. She moved to Amarillo in early 2000. She met the love of her life, Mark in 2005. The two married on January 23, 2006. Family was very important to her. She had a big heart and loved caring and helping people. Carol was a nurse for over 40 years. She enjoyed eating catfish, riding on the motorcycle, and collecting cow knickknacks. Carol was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Mark, her son, Andy Baeza and his wife Meaghan, two stepchildren; Brittany Usman and her husband Sean, Christopher Broughton and his wide Keena, five grandchildren; Abby, Emma, Izzy, AJ, Evan, and two sisters; Linda Oneill, and Wanda Turner.
