Carolyn Walker

Carolyn Walker 56 of Amarillo died Tuesday November 27, 2007. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at South Georgia Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Walker, pastor of Freedom Baptist Church and Bob Miller officiating. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas Mrs. Walker was born in Paris, Texas. She lived in Amarillo all of her life. She worked for Furr's Cafeteria for several years before becoming disabled. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Mrs. Walker was a very loving and giving friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by a son, Bo Walker in 1999. Survivors include: 1 son; Colt Walker and his wife Sunny of Amarillo, 2 sisters; Katrina Thompson of Amarillo and Diane Pebworth of Poteau, OK, 1 brother; James ""Jimmy"" Westbrook of Amarillo 2 grandchildren Rowdy and Harley both of Amarillo and a niece; Diana Leggett of Amarillo. The family requests memorial donations to Freedom Baptist Church 900 Alta Vista Amarillo, Texas 79106
