Carolyn Weeter

Carolyn Weeter 67, of Amarillo died Monday January 11, 2010 in Amarillo. Private services will be at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Tom Malone, pastor of Gateway Fellowship officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Weeter was born in Warner, OK. She was raised in Borger and graduated from Borger High School. She also attended Amarillo College. Mrs. Weeter worked in cosmetics at Blackburn's Clothiers for 17 years. She married Richard Weeter in 1958 in Lawton, OK. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, sewing and crocheting. She was a Christian and attended Gateway Fellowship Church. Survivors include her husband; 3 daughters, Terrenna Gollihugh and Angel London both of Amarillo and Melinda Jones of Lubbock; 1 sister, Joyce Heaven of Verden, OK; 5 grandchildren, Luke Palmer, Clay Gollihugh, Ben Jones, Mandi Jones and Gracie Gollihugh and 1 great-grandchild. The family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association 415 SW 8th Ave. Amarillo, Texas 79101.
