C.B. Marsh

C.B. ""Cheesie"" Marsh, 85, of Amarillo died Friday January 5, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday January 8, 2007 at Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel with Dr. Roger Hubbard, Sr. Pastor of Lake Tanglewood Community Church officiating. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 S. Coulter Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Marsh married his wife Patsy on February 8, 1974 in Amarillo. Mr. Marsh retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, in the United States Army Air Force, and served in World War II. In 1942 he graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He owned and operated Marsh Electric until 1975, when he retired to play golf. In his early career with Marsh Electric Cheesie was very active in civic organizations. He is preceded in death by a son Skip Marsh in 2003. Survivors include: his wife Patsy of the home; 2 daughters Linda Marsh Jacobs of Commerce, TX, and Jackie Shaw of Lubbock; and a son Bobby Mosley of Cheyenne; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be sent the Alzheimer's Association at 1400 Wallace Amarillo, TX 79106. The family will receive guests Sunday from 4 PM-6 PM at the Funeral Home.
