Cesar Alejandro 'Alex' Martinez

Cesar "Alex" Martinez, 22, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Roberts County. Memorial service will be at 10:00 am Friday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Pastor Steve Olsen and Erick Orbando officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Cesar "Alex" Martinez graduated from Caprock High School in May of 2014. He then continued his education at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas where he would pursue his dream of becoming an engineer. He would have graduated from West Texas A&M in December of 2018. He was an employee for Walmart for 4 years and was doing his internship in the engineer program at the Texas Department of Transportation. Alex was a very smart, hard working, loving person. He loved and lived life to the fullest. Everywhere Alex went, he touched peoples lives in different ways. He was his parents pride and joy and his little sister's rock. Alex is survived by his Mother, Maria Martinez, his Father, Cesar Martinez, his Sister, Adriana Martinez, his girlfriend, Mikaela Nicole Brentlinger, his Grandparents, Ana and Angel Martinez, Benigna Vidana and his Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. He is preceeded in death by his Grandmother Ramona Hortencia Villescas.
