Charla Jim Hakimi

Charla Jim (Killion) Hakimi 71, of Amarillo passed to be in the presents of her Lord November 30, 2017. Charla was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 8, 1946 to L. C. Killion and Virginia (Roberts) Killion. She Graduated from Caprock High school in 1965 and later worked as the Executive Director's assistant for the Amarillo Chapter of the United Way. Charla is survived by her: Daughter Heidi Hood of Wichita Falls, TX; Brothers Galen Killion of Amarillo,TX and Larry Killion of Houston,TX; Nieces and Nephews and a host of extended family. Charla is preceded by her parents. To honor Charlas love of community, a come-and-go celebration of giving will be at the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon on Friday, December 8 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon.
