Charles 'Tim' Timothy Lane I

Charles Timothy "Tim" Lane I, 55, of Amarillo passed in his home on January 14, 2023. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 2pm in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage with Pastor Blake Moore presiding. Tim was born June 26, 1967, in Amarillo, Texas to Eugene and Louella (Farmer) Lane. He was a graduate of Lone Oak High School and finished his education at Grayson Community College. On June 19, 1993, Tim would exchange vows with his beloved Virginia Langford and together they set off to build their family. Tim was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved the woods and especially hunting. Be it with a rifle or a bow, Tim loved the thrill of the hunt. Along with his hunting, Tim enjoyed golfing, drone flying, and greatly his trips or short rides on the motorcycle. Tim also picked up a filming hobby going to abandoned locations and creating content for his YouTube channel. By trade, Tim was Peace Officer for most of his life. He began as a patrolman, and then became SWAT and Firearm Instructor Certified. Tim held a CDL as well and following retirement from the Police Department he became a Sales Associate for Greg Lair Motors. Tim is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Louella. Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved Virginia, sons Keith, Kurt, Charles II, and Hunter Lane; and grandson Kipton Lane and granddaughter Sutton Lane, as well as many other loving family and dear friends.
