Charles Wesley Scott Sr.

Charles Wesley Scott, Sr., 65 of Amarillo died Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Oakley of Mescalero Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery, Field of Valor. Military Rites will be by the DAV Chapter #26. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage. Mr. Scott was born in Sweetwater, TX. He moved to Amarillo in 1968 from San Antonio. Mr. Scott served in the Air Force from 1956-1965. He owned and Operated Scotty's Texaco and College Shamrock Service Stations for several years. He also worked as a system analyst for Amarillo College, retiring in 2003. Survivors include; 4 sons; Pat Scott and his wife LaRae of Canyon, Bill Scott and his wife Debi of Amarillo, Chuck Scott and his wife Corina of Lewiston, ID and Jim Scott and his wife Sharon of Abilene, 1 sister Glenda Scott of Amarillo, 2 brothers; Ivan Scott of Dallas and Bill Scott and his wife Barbara of League City, his mother Alice Boyd of Sweetwater, his Father and Step-mother; Ivan and Willowery Scott of Big Spring and 9 grandchildren; Clay, Brandon, Madison, Dani, Niki, Jamie, Dylan, Nikki and John. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to a favorite charity.
