Charles R. Wall

Charles R. Wall 77, of Amarillo died Monday, December 12, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be at 12:00 (Noon), Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Terry Callis, chaplain officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM at Rest Lawn Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Charles was born on December 10, 1939 in Paducah to J.R. and Aileen Ryan-Wall. He was raised in Hereford and served in the Texas National Guard. Charles was a very hard working man. He farmed near Dalhart for more than 10 years and worked as a John Deere implement and tractor mechanic for Texas Tractor. Charles had a passion for antique tractors. Charles married Pat Bell on June 10, 1961 in Plainview. He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Wall in 1981. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; one daughter, Kathy Wall of Amarillo; one brother; Dan Wall of Plains; one sister, Mary Lois Wall of Lubbock; his granddaughter, Tawni Palmer of Amarillo and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, 600 S. 11th Avenue, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
