Christina Preciado Tinajero, 75, of Amarillo died February 27, 2021. Funeral service is 10:00 am Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel officiated by Deacon David Duenes. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Christina was born in Amarillo on September 25, 1946, to Rudolpho Preciado and Martha Macias. She was a firm, but loving mother. She was a hard worker who made many sacrifices for her children. She was proud of her three children and loved them wholeheartedly. She was a proud grandmother of five grandchildren. She loved her two dogs; Missy and Floppie. Christina enjoyed older music, favoring Marvin Gay and The Temptations. She enjoyed dancing and wasnt afraid to boogie down. She adored cruising around town with music playing. She was also very creative. Christina loved to draw and paint, spending countless hours doodling. She loved reality tv shows and gameshows. She enjoyed watching The Voice and American Idol. She enjoyed watching drama movies. Christina idolized her grandmother. They were very close. Christina learned about her Apache heritage and was very proud. She enjoyed working at the Panhandle Assessment Center working with youth. She spent over five years inspiring and giving them a place to feel at home. Christina had a fun sense of humor and loved to hear a good joke. Christina was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Beatrice Preciado, and her stepfather, Patricio Mendoza. She is survived by her three sons; Reynaldo Tinajero Jr., Jessie Garcia Jr., and Dannie Lake Jr. and his wife Shelby, five grandchildren; Rylie, Reagan, Reyna, Miles, and Zachary, Her three sisters; Laura Rodriguez, Cynthia Mendoza, and Patricia Galvez, and two brothers; Samuel Mendoza and Rudy Preciado.
