Clara Helen Seedig Cole, 77, formerly of Amarillo died Thursday May 2, 2002, at Coon Memorial Nusing Home in Dalhart.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler with Jimmye Cole pastor of the Dalhart Church of the Nazarene officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas.

Mrs. Cole was born in Wheeler County. She married C. Everett "Lad" Cole in 1948 at Wheeler. They moved to Amarillo in 1972. She was a homemaker and had worked as a nurse in Shamrock and Pampa.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Phillis Garner and her husband Dale of Amarillo and Becky Voight and her husband Allan of Hartley; 1 son, Roger E. Cole of Amarillo; her sister, Emillee Mills of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren, Destiny Gomez and her husband Mario of Dalhart, Jeremy Voight of Ashmore, IL., Carri Hardin and her husband Tim of Fort Knox, KY., Terri Contreras, Cameron Contreras, Carmen Contreras and Brittney, all of Amarillo, and Ally Garner of Pampa; and 4 great-grandchildren, Blaine Hardin, Tabitha Hardin and Tyler Hardin all of Fort Knox, KY, and Jaden Contreras of Amarillo.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 Sunday at the funeral home, 2800 S. Osage Street in Amarillo and request memorial donation be to the Alzheimer's Association of the Texas Panhandle, 2200 W. 7th Ave. Amarillo, Texas 79106.
